Re: Omaha ALL OVER national media lately
With the NCAA Tournament going on right now, there's a bunch of articles out there on Omaha right now. I came across a series of blog articles from NewsOK.com: Welcome to Nebraska ... where they have Arbor Day, green buildings and mobster steakhouses Day 2 in Omaha: Lots more basketball than Day 1 D...

You can't do that - it'll just rebuild itself. You have to take out the heart. I'm pretty sure it's located in the tv section.

Like the announcers were saying in the video - it's too bad it didn't go through the middle of it. That would have made it so much better.

Re: 2015 NCAA March Madness
I love seeing Omaha on tv. There's some empty seats, but it looks like a good turnout (as opposed to Columbus right now). There seems to be a lot of people here for the games. Traffic was crazy on I-80 driving home today. It was backing up just east of 680 and I didn't see any accidents. And most se...

Re: The Stothert Administration
I'll say this - from my experience growing up, police tend to try to intimidate kids into doing what they want. There were times that I had done nothing wrong yet they tried to pull stuff like that on me. That's why I don't really trust them to this day. My parents even feel the same way after some ...

I hope anyone related to Sam Walton dies in a house fire. What makes you feel that way? IMO they are greedy heartless bastards. They'll do anything for a buck. They essentially subsidize their profits through food stamps and other government assistance by not paying their employees a living wage. T...

This really needs something. There's really no way across 680 other than walking the median. But to get to/from there you have to cross Dodge which is dangerous.Linkin5 wrote:Dodge and 680

Re: siren test Douglas county 2015
The new sirens are designed to be loud enough to hear them outside. Inside your house, you are supposed to be alerted by NOAA weather radio or TV. I know that sirens are only meant to be heard outside. I guess I've either always lived pretty close to one (not sure - I've never really paid attentio...
