Re: Nebraska Crossing Outlet Mall(Gretna)
Wow.. I'm thinking this place is going to eventually be something akin to Jordans Creek in DSM when its done. I was already impressed with the size.. and with phase 2 going to expand it hugely its going to be a great place for even just casual passerbys to want to stop in real quick for a break fro...

Re: Creighton Baseball 2014
No double elimination, no tournament championship, no post season for Creighton. Creighton. 0 Xavier. 5 Attendance: maybe 100. Maybe we can get Creighton to get rid of Baseball and put in Hockey. Servais has phoned it in, and Big East Baseball is no better than little league baseball.

I swear, if I read/hear of people who live just west of this site complain about the "potential for increased traffic blah blah" and try and fight this, I'll probably scream
This area sorely needs a revamp, and I'm glad UNMC is leading the way.

When I think of 'highrise'... I think minimum 300 feet. The First National Center building is close at 295. Downtown Des Moines has a whopping 8 300+ footers, to our measly 3 1/2. When I was in Des Moines two weekends ago it surprised me. None of those buildings look like they are that tall, and...
