The national news accounts are all picking up the AP feed from our local reporters, and concentrating on the whines from OPS.

The president of the OPS Board came out immediately after they voted to take over the suburban schools saying that one reason OPS proceeded wa...

I have a few thoughts: 3. As a political strategy, however, this bill is a work of absolute genius. The legislature opened another front on OPS's war -- and I think it will force OPS to take annexation of the suburban districts off the table in order to talk about a peace plan that will leave the b...

Last year, "premier" games such as the Stampede, Notre Dame, Michigan St., and Michigoon were priced higher than the other games.

However, last year was kind of a "perfect storm" in scheduling. I don't think we'll see nearly as many marquee games next season.

The question might be, in what ways will UNO make season ticket purchases more compelling over purchasing on a game-by-game basis. You may find that individual game tickets may go up, or they may try to find other ways to "add value" to buying tickets in bulk. Keep in mind that UNO season ...

The one off topic area from the Knights discussion/debate, the Mavs did earn the right to be in the NCAA's this year. They met the criteria. The 9-2 loss did not do anything to dispute that. That was a combination of the Mavs having an off game, 1st time to the NCAA jitters, I believe Parse not bei...

I think that Creighton is standing pat to wait and see what happens with the Royals stadium. A Royals stadium is probably going to be twice the size Lincoln's Haymarket Park.
