Is $125 million a lot for a runway? I don’t know. This comes out to about $324 per sq yard, assuming it is 3ft thick. (11,700 ft long x 300 ft wide x 3 ft deep). 3' thick? Really? I have never worked on a runway, but that seems like a lot... Yeah, that's actually typical for a runway for that kind ...

They have to remove a large amount of Asbetos... That's going to take up a large portion of the schedule. I agree about the small windows. I live in Dundee and all the older houses have an abundance of windows. when I look at newer houses with their huge blank expanses of walls with a few little windows, I wonder how darn dark those houses must be inside. Yeah, proportion and composition of windows are...

Looking good. I think the latest rendering is pretty good. It's clearly modern, but fits the setting of the older brick buildings around it. On top of that, the location and street presence is fantastic. It's going to be exciting to see this area fill in over the next decade.

When was the interior gutted? KETV did a great job with what was there when they got it, but it's just so obvious there was an ornate interior that's now missing. Kiewit and the Fed building are the only two I prefer the "After" photos. However they were both built later and didn't have the cool brick features to begin with. A major reason for re-cladding Kiewit Plaza was deterioration of the original glazed brick (the vertical columns in the old p...
