December 21st features concerts in both GI and Kearney. Mannheim Steamroller brings their Christmas concert to the Viaero Events Center, while the "Christmas with the Oak Ridge Boys" will be at the Heartland Events Center in GI.

Conor Oberst will play a free, full-band concert in Grand Island Thursday, Aug 18, presented by Hear Nebraska and local company Knife & Fork Productions. The concert takes place outdoors at the corner of North Pine and South Front Street.

While GRI continues to grow in boardings, EAR is efforting to get a reliable air service provider for its EAS contract.
