Re: 1416 Dodge - Lanoha Highrise
I wish I had more specifics but I was told by a reliable source there is a tenant seriously interested in this. Has anyone heard anything similar? Any guesses? You don’t need to share the possible tenant’s name if you have it, but do you? Your guess is as good as mine. But he’s probably sworn to se...
Re: Opt In
Agree with both of your points there :thumb: .. I’ve always thought it was smart for Omaha/Lincoln to “join forces” if you will.. Omaha/Lincoln, only 45 minutes apart, basically function as a 1.4 million CSA.. even though the “experts” in Washington DC with the US Census don’t see it that way.. but ...

Nice little piece in the San Francisco Chronicle... mostly rewording OWH article, but it’s press nonetheless. https://www.sfchronicle.com/news/article/Omaha-airport-s-new-parking-garage-nearly-ready-14060943.php Nice! Good to see OMA getting a bit of pub from some prominent newspaper media outlets....
Re: Opt In
City Data is City Data. You have your opinion of it as do I.. What I am excited about is this collaborative Opt In plan. As the next months and several years go by, it’ll be interesting to see how it’s “measured” to see if the plan has made a difference and is successful. I can’t imagine it being a ...

BTW, I just came across this thread today. I haven't read it all, but many who relocated to Omaha painted Omaha in a pretty favorable light. http://www.city-data.com/forum/omaha/2744285-those-you-who-relocated-omaha.html I think the City Data forum is a good place to hear people's opinions, and lea...

I’ve eaten burgers at 7 of the 10 places in this poll. I can’t honestly say one stood out over the other (maybe Barrett’s).. The Bedda Chedda Burger at Granite City and the Hangover burger at Omaha Tap House are every bit as good as any burger I’ve eaten at those places.. The 3 I have yet to try- An...

I like this!! The thing I'm trying to understand is the four cities: Denver, Chicago, Sioux Falls, Detroit (I think I read). Why do they leave out Des Moines, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Topeka, Wichita, ect.? I don't get it. From the W-H piece- “The four initial metro areas for the campaign were cho...

These scooters are a fun way to get around and enjoy/see/visit things and places that you wouldn't have otherwise. Great for urban areas. I would agree with this. But the reality is, at least here in Omaha, most people don’t follow the rules. And the rules are pretty plain and simple to understand....

I’ll chime in here with a couple comments- Gold Mountain is about as authentic a Chinese/Vietnamese Asian restaurant as you’ll find in the metro. I think Oakview should follow suit to what Gateway mall in Lincoln has which is called round 1 family entertainment center. The Sears maybe would be a good place/entrance for a food hall for Oakview. No problem. It’s great news for sure.
