Lindstrom won the first debate, and the second. The third was a toss up between him and Thibideau. Herbster actually tried to lead the debate audience in prayer.

That can't be it. There are an ocean sized number of boats portrayed here. That lake wouldn't handle half them. What will happen when the Platte floods into it like the Elkhorn did up north?

Before I moved it was my Cheers bar. Nice friendly place - Dave and Becca have created a great place. I wish I had something similar down here. Cheers is funny because the other day my son and I stopped in so I could grabbed some beers to go. After talking to several people he says "Daddy, do ...

Buff up the Boulevard system that connected all the parks. Twin Ridge just dead ends. Nowhere close to a park. Along this line, consider a bike trail or driving trail to connect sports fans in town for something at Tranquility with other cool parks. A map between Tranquility and Cross Key Villages p...

It’s often a bit of a daunting task to remember the “good old days” accurately. But my memory is that the original Valentino’s prior to the franchising and maybe for first year or two of the first few locations had a much better pie. But then it all went rapidly downhill. This, or good old days mem...

Yep. Totally could have avoided the crime by telling the truth and cooperating with the FBI. Now, there are a lot of red flags about the FBI. They just got busted for some 700 documentable procedural errors. But still, someone puts cash in the back seat of a car and then suddenly a bunch of donation...

Yes I believe sometime in the second half of 2021 that location closed. I remember (from my youth) how when Valentino’s first opened in Omaha (late 1970s?) they were extremely popular. Just another example of changing public tastes. It was the goto pizza in Lincoln. It was up against Godfathers and...

Dan's track record on restaurant reviews is not good... But this is Omaha. Have we ever had “good” track records in this area? Riff raff’s gonna riff raff. This might sound weird, but maybe it’s best to have that crowd all in one place, with heavier security. At least that way, those who just want to have a good time will know where not to go. With all that's being built downtown, I'll predict an eviction on the horizon, b...

I'm probably in the minority again, but I do think the Clark is a much better looking building. A friend works at the downtown library. She is pumped for this move. The work space is too small and the interior design leaves the top several floors open so they hear lots of first floor noise. The move to the Jones location? That is temp and the plans for the DoSpace area will be a long term plus.
