Re: Fun Plex..Omaha's 'Amusement Park'..

FunPlex did add that small coaster about 10-15 years ago, but since took it out. I never once been to Fun Plex. It never looked appealing to me. Just your typical carnival rides and a lame go kart track. Even when they had the coaster, never felt compelled because even it was kinda a kiddie ride.

Oh wow, they never even tore them down? Shows you how much attention I've been paying. Well still think it'd be a good thing. There's not much on the table that would be worse than a car wash, minus maybe a Mega Saver, and I don't think there's enough room for that to start. But we do know they were...

Re: Rocket Carwash (SEC 72nd & Farnam)

So they tore the buildings down and are now selling the property. I see no reason this isn't a win for development in the area. I suppose it could end up something lame like fast food buildings, a bank, or Mega Saver, but I say at least the door is back open for something with more potential than a ...

Huh. That seems kinda odd. Unless there's behind the scenes plans to build a grocery store there too. I don't know why they would do that, but there's room. Are there any other freestanding Hyvee gas stations?

Getting another quick shot of rain this afternoon. I enjoyed it as well. And now thinking about it, since there's virtually no trace of winter left, I think I would prefer it not snow again now. Forgot to mention I really enjoyed that rain we got last night. It was kind of a surprise to me since I've not been paying attention to this moderate forecast we've had lately. I enjoyed it enough to open the windows to get that fresh rain smell in the house. Eppley only reported .01", but I'm ...
