The location at 1108 Allen, I believe that just went up is a Verizon store. I couldn't believe it since there are so many other places to buy phones in that immediate area. Oh well, I am still keeping my fingers crossed for BW3.
At least the new Taco Johns will be going up soon!

So, I am really excited about this. I heard a while back ago from some pretty reputable sources that Buffalo Wild Wings was coming to town. Well, today I saw that ground was being moved just south of Exchange Bank on US HWY 281 which is right where my source said it would be. Looks like it may be he...

Now that they lost Allegiant, I don't think they have any full size planes flying in/out of there anymore. Allegiant is doing well in Grand Island. In fact the airport just recorded its 10,000th passenger just last week. I am waiting for the airport board to release their August meeting notes, here...

Two weeks ago the GI airport is in negotiations with Allegient Air about providing flights to the Phoenix area and possibly to Florida. According to their last board meeting, Allegient is averaging 88% full flights and are ready to expand. Overall passenger numbers are up over 150% for the year. Thi...

Yes, they are all not so great. However, I voted #1. Why? Here is what 3 years of a Graphic Design degree got me... Number 1 has the best complete design. It was well thought out from a design perspective, I don't like the bird and flower, but for these options, it was the only decent choice. Number...

I gave up reading the daily delivered newspaper. My wife still reads it, but by the time she's flipped through the front section I have seen the majority of the news I want to see via cnn.com, msnbc.com, drudgereport.com, and for the local stuff Omaha.com. I will say this, I do enjoy the crossroad p...

That's two very prominent spaces at VP that are empty now. I am hoping that Barnes and Noble catch on to the amazing location that are available in VP. Perfect location, automatic traffic. Plus, it's books! Yeah, two large and empty buildings for VP is not good. I think traffic is still really good...

Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone! While I was in Omaha this weekend along Dodge St, I saw three Smart Cars. The sad part for the Starbucks employees (partners) in Kearney and Fremont, etc. is they can't just move to another store without moving their life to another city. So, in the case of Kearney, I kind of expected it of anyone who wanted to stay in the coffee business. Well, it was either Scooters or ...

The issue with Hastings leaving the GI Mall, does that leave that space with any hope of rebuilding. I drive by it everyday and unless there is a serious facelift on it, I don't see any businesses being attracted to the area. Shopko brings in some traffic, but even their store is aging. They haven't...
