There is actually an antique/ornate metal post that is hidden behind the clock in that picture. I am guessing that it was visible when first constructed but hidden somtime after. I didn't think they were going to leave that part open in the original drawings but maybe changed their mind after seeing...

I've been meaning to try out the Fan Tan club. How many tables are there inside? 1 or 2? Whatever happen to their neon sign. That was a cool one. Did someone steal it?

Has anyone ventured inside Weston's Bar on Cuming? I am getting up the courage to try that place sometime.

I was hoping for a long time that PLC would open up a location downtown or near downtown. I have to travel out to 132nd and center and this would be much closer.

Yeah, that's funny that you think GI has better retail and dining options. The people in Kearney will tell you that their city is better. Ahhh sibling rivaling... I know Kearney better than GI so I would biased to say Kearney is better but they do have the college so from a demographics perspective ...

There are a surprising # of homes in Dundee that sit for a while until they sell. I don't know if they are priced too high or if there is something wrong with them? Who knows. I don't think they all necessarily sell that fast. Especially at this time of year. I can think of a couple of nice looking ...

It should tie in with the aksarben village or I am not sure I would be in support of it. (You know buildings about 3-4 sto...

My concern with their convention center is that I heard that the private donor's goal is to steal the Tri City Storm away from Kearney. He couldn't get his own franchise so his goal is take the one from Kearney. (Although I heard it is unlikely to happen.) How does that benefit that area of the stat...

Reflections of Omaha

Okay, I am past/future lurker but hey I got up early last Saturday and thought I would post the results. I realize that some of these angles have been seen before but I hope you enjoy them anyway. Omaha's favorite cathederal from California Street. http://i.pbase.com/g4/44/611644/2/51955796.CIMG1494...
