My only complaint with the project is that there is going to surface parking behind the building. It would have cool if they could have done something similar to the Sawyer Building and extend the residences up to Pierce St.

I'm so mad I got there late and missed the stealth bomber. I was stuck in traffic about 20th and Cuming when I heard a roar and looked up and there it was! I couldn't figure out why the Direct TV blimp went so far up north until I saw the bomber. I was standing right near the CLink and heard it but...

I could be completely wrong but I think it is just a concrete street and the black part is probably going to have brick covering it. I have seen them do a similar thing on Broadway in CB next to the sidewalk. They put asphalt down first and then lay brick over it.

They have been paving the parking lot to the east of Baxter Arena this past week. Hopefully someday that will be torn up and replaced with development. I hate all the parking out by Center St. now as it is. Maybe UNO should have built a parking garage on this land with ground level retail.
