Re: The Next Blackstone? - North Saddlecreek Rd?
I live right in the area and I dread the idea of it becoming another Blackstone or Benson bar district. The surrounding area is already ill prepared for the Blondo cross traffic. Idk what we would do with a bunch of nightly bar traffic on top of it. Blondo cross traffic needs to go completely. That...

I can add that the expansion to CB continues to be in motion. I'm just aware that they're exploring federal funding, which is quite the lengthy process, but do you know more? I don't really know to what level my knowledge is connected to the process of acquiring federal funding. It didn't come up. ...

Re: Omaha Eppley Airfield
Although these ideas are nice to have for Eppley upgrades, the cost would skyrocket. The city does not manage the airport but the authority does. Do we really want to follow the path of KC, of the city managing the airport, in which tax payers are stuck paying for an over the top airport? Isn't it ...

Maybe moving to the fans makes sense in congested cities like Atlanta and Dallas, but I don't think that's a real problem in KC. I doubt having the team 20 minutes closer to wealthier fans is going to make or break the Royals. I'd have to imagine going downtown is part of a vibe the team is going fo...

P.S. I think Universal Studios and Disney parks are overrated. Universal studios, Long lines for up to 1 hr, few quality rides that can be ridden without getting bored, random rides broken and out of service, the asthetics of the park look cheap in certain places, more emphasis in merchandise. It looks like a lovely theme park, but the marketing efforts are annoying. They mention it’s the size of Disneyland, which isn’t unique. They just wanted to make a comparison to Disneyland. They also mention it’s built around the American trait of hard work, among others, which is an odd choice. Bas...

It’s not really supposed to be anything more than a cheap concept drawing at this point. It costs a lot of time and money to fully design and engineer something out like a highway cap or a highway tear down or what have you. This is to get feedback and then they figure out specifics later.

I was looking at the pictures of the canopy and noticed something. The south end of the terminal is shown glassed in with escalators as you walk in. I feel like the answer to a lot of the issues expressed here about Hy-Vee, besides the convenience of Hy-Vees being everywhere, is Trader Joe's. Excellent food, lots of grab and go options, fun store with lovely employees. They mostly have store brand products, but they're delicious.

Just the airport nerd in my but I’d want to take this flight in part because it flies into the new MCO terminal c, which is primarily used for international flights.

If a streetcar line were to go to the airport it would be best for it to operate in its own right-of-way for most of that journey.
