Agreed, this seems like a big win for the plaza. Cake Shop gets a shiny new store (it's currently pretty dirty and rundown, which the owner lady explains) and Ace Hardware, assumedly, get's a bigger spot with better parking. Cake lady should be hyping up the move. "We're going to have the newe...

Given all the recent backpedaling by the team representatives as to the benefits they would pour back into the city, I’m curious as to whether the taxpayers have the stomach for this development. We will know tomorrow.

Tropicana Hotel in Vegas closes
Once again Las Vegas turns its back on its history as it continues to reinvent itself as a Major League city. My first and only “big” slot machine win was at the Tropicana. The last big nightclub style show we had tickets to was also at this resort, which only slightly predates me. I’m sure that som...

While I feel bad that they are getting evicted, it's just business. Art is a lot like music.
Some art is intended to bring a smile to your face.
Some art is intended to raise your emotions.
Some art is designed to make you question to intent of the artist.
It’s all art to someone, even if YOU don’t/won’t/ can’t yet appreciate it.
