Re: HyVee Growth Plans
Anyone heard any updates on HyVee's growth plans (whispers Elkhorn location haha). Looks like they are going to open 26 Walburgers location and become Wahlburgers largest franchisee... https://www.hy-vee.com/company/press-room/press-releases/hy-vee-announces-innovative-partnerships-with-wahlburgers...

It seems that Channel 7 is having a "dispute" with Cox & they have pulled their signal. Apparently the station is demanding a significant fee increase. Oh boo hoo. Guess I'll watch another channel

According to my sister, who works at Kiewit, the "Underground District" (Mining) has already moved there. They were displaced from the water main break at the Blackstone a month or so ago. PKS will probably sell the Blackstone once the repairs are done which could take a year or so. Some f...

That shouldn't be an issue if you are paying for their service though. We had the same issue when we took the paper. Probably our fault that the problem persisted. OWH tracks your cookies. The way around it, until they figure it out is to right click your mouse on the article you want to read, click "open in incognito window". I've been doing this for months. And a new tab opens! Kind of a pain, but worth it.

The gas station property is listed for sale so that seems unlikely. Buck's bought this building in late February for a cool $1m while it was evaluated at $525k but are now asking $725k with a deed that restricts the property from use as a C-Store and/or car wash, so I am guessing the building/car w...

I've never shopped that mall, I used to call on the HyVee when I rep'd. Grocery store was always busy and you're right, Gordman's seemed to be busier than Penney's. But it's 30 minutes max to Westroads, so I would expect they'd see a bump in traffic!
