The best part if I remember correctly that this is done with private money and not through a govt. subsidy.  This speaks volumes about at least some developers view on the future of this area.  When these sell, other developers will follow.

The large house that was there was converted into apartments.  It could have been a cool house until it burned down a year or two ago.  

Not sure if it was stated but they are in the process of building another twin building facing this one.  They will share the same driveway it appears.

what if that same 78 year old said she was all for the move because she didn't want to go all the way down to South Omaha.  Would she then be enlightened?  There is wisdom with age and there is a sort of carelessness (in a good way) with youth.  Each should be celebrated and not chastised.   BTW...
