It is a shame that the $6.5 million could not have been used for a library. A library is sorely needed in that area.
I guess our culture does not value academics like it did in the past. Sigh...

... That's exactly why I only use WPA2 + MAC filtering. Not only is WPA2 extremely difficult to crack, you can't even touch my router unless you have a MAC address that I have entered into my allow list. I'd disable SSID advertisement, but I like to see that I'm connected to my network. :D Of cours...

Authenticated Digital Photos
Hi digital camera gurus, With the recent fiasco with "Reuters News" publishing PhotoShopped photos, a thought occurred to me. Are there any digital cameras (high-end I presume) that contain unique digital certificates? The camera could then calculate a 'hash' of the picture using the camer...

I've been wishing that KXVO would go full power so Cox could finally add them in time for the new fall season. Good news, KXVO-DT is now full power digital. I use DISH satellite for my premium programming, and DTV for all my local programming. Many new TV's have DTV tuners in them. Do you need a big HDTV antenna to get all the sub-channels over the air? Or is your TV able to get those without an external antenna? It depends, but in general it doesn't t...

KETV launches "Weather Now" on 7.2
I noticed that KETV has upgraded its digital sub-channel 7.2. Instead of just a radar image, it is a full blown local weather channel, "Weather Now" with national feeds from AccuWeather. Unfortunately, KETV has the weakest weather team in the area, IMHO, this is a very nice service. Thanks...

Clearly there is no bonus for early completion, so there is no early completion.

Lonnie, do you blame home builders when crooks are always coming up with new ways to break into houses? Microsoft's code may have flaws; however, all software does. As much as I detest the high taxes in Nebraska, the state road tax is one of the more 'fair' taxes... you drive, you pay for the roads. An even more fair method of taxing road use would be to pay tax by the mile. This could be done at license registration time. No matter what kind of fuel source you...

The Ellada at Legacy has closed.
