That said, I think Coyote is right. No NFL help, it makes things very hard. Im not sure I agree with this anymore. I used to. But now, not so much.. We’ve already had a league that fed into the NFL with, supposed NFL support, called NFL Europe. That folded.. As did the XFL, the UFL and now the AAF....

I believe these two population milestones are closely tied together..

Based on current projections-

The Omaha metro will probably hit the 1 million mark one year before the state hits 2 mil.. Think 2023; then 2024..or thereabouts...

Just an update- the new 2018 US Census Metro/CSA population estimates will be released Thursday, 4/18/19.. So just 3 weeks away..
