Yeah. And inside they moved the products around, painted the walls, and vacated the old liquor section of the building.
It was basically a wash and paint remodel. Nothing really changed. It's still like Albertson's left it.

Interesting, so I suppose it's lightly packing business travelers who appreciate the curb to gate, have no interest in dining options, etc.. who have voted it among too 5 airports. I think it sucks. Benson is so tuned to the 20-40 year old demo that you feel weird there if you are older. That's what Dundee is for. There's nothing drawing me to the Old Market. It's far away, you have to pay to park, everything costs more, etc. For CWS, there are beer gardens and tailgating around the stadium. I...

Agreed. You can brainstorm ideas all you want, but it takes millions of dollars and know-how to develop large tracts of land to actually do something.
I think I already posted my idea in this thread. It's on the first page with photos.

Start reading up on Ag business and manufacturing. I'm sure you saw all the manufacturing plants. You may want to lookup info on the city demographics and how that is effecting jobs, schools, etc. Fremont/Inglewood is a good example with the Hispanic issues (jobs, apartments, taco trucks, etc) and t...

True. That's definitely the downside that would have to be considered. I would widen L street west to 144th, and reconfigure that intersection. Adding on a turn lane on L street onto Oaks lane, if possible, would be helpful too. That would alleviate some of the traffic heading into Central Middle S...

What I would love to see is Millard Avenue cut down to two lanes with a middle turn lane from L/Industrial to around Q Street or so. Widen/refurbish the sidewalks and add some parking. I know EXACTLY what you're talking about, however, this would not work with the existing roads/traffic. Traffic is...

I'm glad to see Millard get more dense. Something in that area just needed to change. With only 350 new apartments, I don't think it will change much. I really hope it does though.
