Jimmy's had a practice run last night for suppliers, contractors, etc. Now they say they are opening Monday.

This project is coming along very fast now. East of it on college road is the new Immanuel Senior Apartment complex. Next to that is the new Black Hills Energy office center. Both of those are in full swing. Plus a townhouse complex between them.Lot of activity there.

We have been to 712 in CB numerous times. It is always very busy. Food is good. Everyone we've taken there has enjoyed it. I believe it is owned by the people who have Barley's in the 100 block in CB.

The one in CB will be at the corner of S 24th st. and Richard Downing Ave. The final reading of the rezoning is at next Monday's city council meeting. The development will be called Park Place and have pad sites and another retail plaza as well.

Went to Lincoln's Pub this week, in the former Dixie Quicks space. Really good food. Had the Wagyu Meatloaf and my partner had the Salmon on a chile grit cake with a avocado crème , pico and baby vegies. Very reasonable. 15.00 each. the place was packed, midweek.

Actually, they dropped the mills from their name so now they are Fleet Farm. Not just a farm store though.

It is going to be the anchor in Park Place. Southwest of the Marketplace. Mills Fleet and Farm just opened in Sioux City. They also have locations in Ankeny and Mason City. They are based in Minnesota.

Their current store is very cramped. They may feel they need to do that to compete with the new Mills Fleet Farm store proposed for S. 24th Street at 185000 sq, ft.

I heard that Bomgaars is moving to the KMart location in CB. They have owned the building for over a year.
