They've also cut about half the journalists and outsourced the paper design to Wisconsin. That's why you'll sometimes see different fonts being used on the same page.

Minor nitpick, but the low bidder was West Central Sanitation out of Minnesota.
People who need extra trash bins only have to pay $91/year which is reasonable. Additional recycling bins are $45.50/year.

3300-5000 is in line with the bigger Tyson plants. Dakota Dunes according to the latest numbers I can find via Google is approximately 7000/day. I don't think that there will be any situations like when they bought Kabredlo's in Lincoln. That chain had an existing store right across the street from another Casey's on 70th and Havelock, and Casey's operated at both locations until early last year.

Omaha is also pretty close logistically speaking to their two DCs in Kansas City. They might not need to stage as much product in Nebraska.

It might be a billing error, but the price for my annual online subscription jumped over 30% from last year. They're charging me full price as if I was paying monthly.

Lincoln Journal Star, and most of the general circulation newspapers in this state were owned by Berkshire until today's announcement. They were managed by Lee in the same manner as OWH was.
