I asked that question based upon cdub's point about "land acquisition". Given that the developers have already acquired the Crossroads proper property, I assume cdub is talking about other properties. Maybe I am missing reading that point. I was hoping cdub would clear that up.

I would agree that they shouldn't be worried. They'll be competitive - probably won't win it - but they'll be one of the last 3 or 4 teams standing and that'll be that. Husker fans should be more worried about how they are going to endure another year of Anderson.

Might want to read Ben's post closer. If a new tower is built on the existing parking lot adjacent to the existing tower, a new lot or structure would be built where the old tower is. Essentially it would be a trade from the sounds of it.

No doubt. But the point is that maybe there isn't the yuppy demand for apartments that has been said to exist by certain posters on this board. If it's only college students that's fine. Maybe it will help create kind of a young college bar/club scene in the area.
