Hmm, you're probably right. It was nighttime and I didn't read Streets's article.
Plus I was trying to text and read from my Kindle, so I was a little too distracted to drive, much less pay attention to things on the side of the road.

'60s |expletive|. I personally won't miss it. That is history, my friend. What a waste to tear it down. Throw in some apartments on the top floor, mid level office, and bottom floor CVS/retail. Ha. I'm pretty sure you're being sarcastic, but it's a damn box. There's nothing architecturally appealin...

Was down there tonight. It appears that several apartment buildings have been leveled. They were just east of the basketball courts.

I bet if we vastly improved the system (more routes, nicer/fancier buses, fewer tardy buses, improved bus stops that include route maps and light boards giving information on the next approaching buses, etc) and then market the |expletive| out of it, I bet there would be a large growth in bus riders...

It is? The right third of that rendering isn't there now. Unless you wanted a rendering of the |expletive| end of the hotel? ..... Uh, I meant I wanted a closer perspective to the portion of the building that is in the right third of this rendering. I'd like to view the rendering looking in a south...

Additionally, some colleagues from the Target I used to work at said that Target will no longer be building any new SuperTargets. None of the current ones are supposed to close, but its coming to a point where no new ones can profitably be constructed. That seems odd to me, as every SuperTarget I'v...

Tell me about it. All you nerds do is argue about the dumbest $hit. It's flipping annoying reading about something when 95% of the thread is a bunch of menstruating geeks arguing like women. But that's what message boards are for. We wouldn't have half the discussion we do if we just agreed on ever...

I'd like it if it turned out like this. This In 'N Out occupies the whole lot, has a drive through, and has a small surface lot behind that it shares with the adjoining strip/office thing next to it. Add a patio area for a beer garden and this, IMO, would be a great Zesto's for north downtown. http:...

So far this is largely what you get when a bunch of 21st century suburbanites try to create a downtown; an abundance of free off street parking and completely useless green space. 12th street needs to be one lane in each direction with parallel or diagonal parking along the curb. Done correctly, yo...

The building looks pretty nice to me, I'm concerned with its footprint. How much of that lot is going to end up being grass or parking? If any more that 30% is devoted to cars and useless grass areas, then screw this (unless they intend to use said grass areas for beer gardens, then I exempt). At th...
