Re: Rowe Sanctuary/Iain Nicolson Audubon Center
Was out there this past weekend. Still moving along. Should be ready to go next year. I was there the weekend before and was surprised it wasn't further along. While the east addition was mostly closed end, the west addition wasn't. Considering they started almost a year ago, I thought it would all...

I was in Western Nebraska and managed to hit up Flyover in Scottsbluff and both Pals and Peg Leg in North Platte. I was going to try Bolo in Valentine, but I was there Monday/Tuesday and they're only open Wednesday through Saturday. Sounds like a good tirp. I am never in North Platte at the right t...

That doesn't surprise me. Over the last few months they've had a lot of kitchen staff turnover and bar staff either move locations or leave for personal reasons. The kitchen staff turnover definitely affected the food quality for the worse. We stopped going there in favor of RTG for delicious wings...

Re: Mutual of Omaha Tower (14th & Farnam)
Why is the rebar green and in other cities not green? The rebar that is green, is epoxy coated. It helps mitigate corrosion of the rebar. Since this is a parking garage they are using epoxy coated rebar in the slabs and beams. The rebar at the stair tower is not epoxy coated so it is the typical re...

Re: NASCAR Fans
I think Truex had every right to be pizzed. He had that race won, but Bubba had to go and cause a caution AGAIN. Again is right... Like Clint was saying, Hamlin did get rolling a little early, but it wasn't egregious. Hamlin won the race on pit road. If anybody caused Truex to not win, it was Bubba...

Speaking of Grow Omaha and your trip to the Sandhill Cranes, Brad, you said that “all the blinds have been completely rebuilt “ since I was there last, how do the blinds in Rowe look these days? Are you going to post some more pics? What does Rowe look like recently? 📷 I should have some video from...

I believe all three goals UNO gave up were off turnovers. The last one with about 4 minutes to go was rough. UNO had possession was skating out of the zone when the puck carrier fell. Minnesota quickly pounced and scored. I took my son up to the game on Thursday. It was a really odd game as far as ...

Turned out to be a pretty nice day in Omaha yesterday, I cut the grass for the first time. Which is about 1 to 2 weeks earlier than I usually cut it. Dont ever recall cutting it in March before. I guess I see an apartment complex like the Swivel down the street. It's long and skinny in shape. Flip it into that space and right against the retaining wall. Zoning will not allow that. The residential to the east is zoned R3, so there is a 30 foot landscape buffer along the east property line. ...

This building is actually the Anheuser-Busch depot. It was used when they would ship beer by train from St. Louis to Omaha and then distribute it regionally. You may want to update the title. It was originally the Krug Brewery, and later taken over by Anheuser-Busch See Page 63 of "Building fo...
