I missed about 150 laps of the greatest NASCAR race of the season (The Bristol Night Race!) and run down and snap this picture real quick. The picture at full size is about 100 inches wide so this little one is not the clearest. Smaller crowd than I thought: http://www.bradwilliamsphotography.com/im...

The land is for sale.  That should end any rumor as to what is going in there. Two things.  One if it was just for sale they would not have demolished the entire building just removed that tanks.  you see old gas station shells all over town with a messed up parking lot where the tanks use to be....

I don't think Swift ever proposed the husker express, he is just saying that is one of the ways you could market the train to help increase ridership. Good point Capitalguy.  I know people that commute every day also.  I also know a lot of people that run down to Lincoln for meetings all the time....

Whats the cost per mile?  I am guessing we are going to need about 70 Miles? (it's 61.2 by road) Since we are avoiding roads, it would be a more direct line, I'd guess it would probably be less than 61 miles. But you just can't go blazing through Omaha with a bulldozer, you will have to go around s...
