Another 2.4 miles of widening I-80 to 6 lanes. It will mean the closing of that west side ramp that enters I-80 in the left lane. Kind of a shame. I always liked that ramp for its unique nature.

I actually like it.  I was as leery as everybody else when they first started putting up those mint green panels. But seeing it completed, I've been won over.  To me it's way better than Parkhaus in Lincoln, which I'm hugely disappointed in.

Lincoln and Omaha shouldn't be afraid of have top notch venues competing with each other.  Both cities are growing. The city leaders should plan for thirty years out, not just the here and now. Well, we might soon be adding 5 ex-Californians to that number.

My wife's department at the LA Times just got the hatchet.  We're talking about moving to Lincoln and the idea of finding a nice size house for under $300,000 really excites us.

Watching the video, I have to say, it wasn't that bad.  Sure the commentary was glib, but all in all, I didn't think it was terrible. And like bug said, the freaks come out in every city.
