Is Dundee Bank renovating the building for another branch? Yes, its Dundee, and its for another branch. Sorry I couldn't disclose more earlier, but as they haven't made an official announcement yet, I didn't want to spill the beans. They're really excited about the project, from a bank expansion pe...

Slosburg still owns the property on the west side of the 90th and Center intersection. Hopefully once things pick up a little more in the economy, they'll move forward with that piece of this development.  That's actually the much larger lot, with tons of potential for the sort of mixed use stuff w...

I'm glad to see that its being saved. That building has so much potential, but is in really rough shape. There's a large swath of cracked bricks along the north side of the building that'll need to be re-tuckpointed or replaced before the building is structurally okay for any interior work to take p...

I read in the paper that the Aksarben Ball is going to be held at the arena once it is completed.  It may be one of the first events to be held in the new arena. Entirely possible, but that would mean a change of format for the ball, if it is to happen. They don't use the arena, when they do it at ...

First off, sorry, should have taken a picture of the menu. Overall: A modern, classy place with food to match. The place will be popular with the pre/post show crowd (Orpheum, but likely also Holland), as well as a destination restaurant for foodies. I wasn't blown away by anything I ate, but it was...

This makes plenty of sense. They committed to keeping an ER in the area as part of shutting down CUMC.
