Having more people is actually not a good thing. Bigger cities are the ones with the most problems. That means we have twice the ghetto of you guys! NOT GOOD! :) Lighten up guys. I've already stated my opinion, I think Omaha is a cool city. So I'd like it if some of you didn't just lump Oklahoma Ci...

It's a server issue. I had an admin of ours move the forums to a better server and the url got messed up and pointed to a different address that we own, that's why the threads say oktalk.net instead of okmet.org and before we could fix it my tech-savvy admin got stationed in Iraq, so we're just try...

Hmmmm I wonder who let the OWH know? Sokol, chairman of MidAmerican Energy and a Berkshire Hathaway officer, learned from The World-Herald that Fahey had mailed the letter on Friday. It almost is like Fahey said I have got my contract now I don't care what anyone thinks. He might having the NCAA wo...

wow, I wasn't at all questioning DTO's integrity, I was simply curious where he gets his information. I know city planners, a few council members, former council members, in touch w/chamber of commerce, and know many business owners and couldn't muster up a fraction of what he knows. It was simple ...

If there are those of you who choose to insist on hearing the first hand account of the funnel bearing down on your street, before you intend to take notice of the situation ... by all means, be complacent in light of current warning methodology... and best of luck to you. Who said we didn't take n...

I really hope that CB has some grand development plans for their side of the river. One of those last photos looks like you go from a decent well kept city to a sort of trashy looking forest... The bridge is quite nice though! Lol, a trashy forest. Yes, they have plans for a mixed use mostly reside...

Did we miss the part where someone said a black kid was admitted to U of M over a white kid? I read back quite aways and couldn't find it. Maybe you can help me with that? So when we're having a discussion about reverse discrimination we can't bring up one of the most significant court cases in the...

etc etc How does that stance justify comments about me whoring Christ out to commercialism? I don't direct these comments (or any others) at anyone that holds a particular set of beliefs - religious or racial or whatever. In fact, have at it and more power to you. I DO direct them at the unabashe...

Just because Christians Ho-Ho-'Hore their Lord and Savior's birthday out to commercialism doesn't make it a secular holiday, nor does its ubiquity make it OK to promote one religion over another. -Big E Big E, To my surprise I kinda of agree with that first comment of yours. The only change I would...

Re: Moving Truck Unloading Helpers
Our moving help backed out on us. :? Any suggestions for moving companies that might be able to JUST do unloading of the truck? I found Patt's on Craigslist. Any others? I keep trying to search Google and the hits I'm getting aren't the greatest. Once again, thanks a TON for all your help. Less th...

Why would people out west be less inclined to vote for either? Because most of the people I know out here in the suburbs have very little connection to urban Omaha... and feel like neither of these mayors have represented THEIR interests. The majority of people living around me have no interest in...

So is this the big one? or is that still by tomorrow? Hopefully this isnt the "big one". I still have my fingers crossed for the Tornado Tower Lol, the Tornado Tower. Is that project still actively proposed? I suppose it would be quite interesting to say the least. Neway, I think this Sou...
