Re: Holland's Greenspace
Can we use eminent domain to acquire the land the Holland sits on and tear down the Holland? We could build a new performing arts center out in the suburbs with 3 or 4 parking spots per seat and special robots to lift fat elderly people from their cars to their seats so they don't have to walk at a...

Few are actually complaining at this point. The project was improved and now allows for a future expansion to fill in the lot along 4th Street. Originally, the lot took much more real estate on the block. Most are super excited about this addition downtown. Usually the first question I get about li...

The areas east of the mall are VERY upscale. Forest Glenn, Bent Tree, etc. Also Ridgeview Estates in north CB. Heartland Country Estates to the south. The Hills of Cedar Creek, Ferndale, Briarwood and many more middle class subdivisions that make this a great city. It really irritates me that some o...

The Eastend of Council Bluffs around that Mall and the area to the South of Mall of the Bluffs is not poor. The immediate Mall area housing stock is a little old but is working class at the worst. The newer areas to the south of the mall are comparable to most West Omaha starter neighborhoods with ...

I agree with you BUT that was not the point of my post. There are many other ways to save every week but gas prices get everyone riled up. No one ever complains about the cost of the things They decide to spend money on. Only things that are required, like gas.

I am always amazed when people worry about saving 10cents a gallon on gas. Most of the people who gripe about it spend more money on coffee and bottled water every day. If I am so poor that I have to save $1.50 on a tank of gas, then it is time for me to really take a good look ay my expenses.
