That’s a significant layoff number- 500 total - for sure..
I hate to see anyone lose their job due to a layoff, but the Omaha metro only seeing 22 people let go, definitely dodged the bullet this go around...

White Sox vs Yankees in Dyersville Iowa, Field of Dreams August 13 next season. Greg I saw this on a couple of Facebook posts but no details. Is it an exhibition game? That’s an excellent draw. I didn’t read up on it, but is this the first MLB game played in the state of Iowa?... Ciao..LiO...Peace

Not sure I buy that. Air Canada hitting the OMA market was a pretty big deal- and was covered by the W-H and all the local television stations. But how do you think this happens 99% of the time? I think the increased cynicism is due to the general ill will that seems to permeate all aspects of contemporary online culture. That’s my zip code as well. Houses seldom take more than a week or two to sell. If they sit on the market for more than a month they usually aren’t priced right or need a bunch of work. Many sell in a few days. Agreed. Available homes fly off the shelves very quickly in 68144... Ciao..LiO...Peace

Yep. That’s my zip code!.. From today’s W-H- “Realtor.com, in its latest Market Hotness Index, catapulted 68144 to the No. 2 spot nationally after analyzing some 32,000 ZIP codes and how quickly houses were viewed and sold.
