Re: Downtown HDR Corporate Headquarters
Maybe LaViata will lure them to Westport. Direct interstate access. Hotels nearby. And corn fields. Honestly, if I was in upper management of HDR I don't know how I could get up this morning and face the world. I would bet that even my 10-year-old child's classmates would be laughing at me as I dro...

I've been patiently waiting on this whole project (like we all have). I haven't heard anything for awhile. I'm glad that Best Buy recently moved further West. I think that's a good sign. In the meantime, I'm ecstatic about the new Bucky's gas station and Hobby Lobby there now. It looks so much bett...

I forgot that Lanoha has a different architectural company, though. I'd say the Civic site, but they'll still be kicking around whether that can be torn down in 2050. Yeah TACKArchitects is doing Lanoha. I was thinking the Civic site as well, but if their problem is people who live on 111000000th a...

Re: Downtown HDR Corporate Headquarters
I heard Stothert on KFAB this morning. It sounds like LOT B in downtown is very much in play for HDR. It was one of 12 sites the city initially proposed to HDR. The issue with the initial site appears to be that HDR doesn't want the city to acquire any property on its behalf through imminent domain...

Parking wasn't an issue? |expletive|, please. Right???? I disagree with the limited downtown slots. Omaha has open lots all over the place downtown. Also, Ameritrade and Double Tree buildings would both be taller than anything we could possibly dream of building right now downtown. I'd be ecstatic to have something like the Ameritrade building downtown....

I honestly don't think that local mom and pop type restaurants have a chance at lifestyle centers such as VP.
