The NCAA may have taken the CWS, and nearly $40 million a year from us.. but they will never take away the tradition or Rosenblatt, or that $3 million per year in raised taxes! Now, let's try to get the Royals to stay and not look at other cities with a much better situation in a much better spot......

I think it's more important to keep rosenblatt than the CWS, because of all the wonderful, fond memories of the CWS in the past..

Wow, it just hit me...

I am 29 years old, and believe it or not I have been following Omaha's progress since I was 8.. I remember in the beginning when it was slow and negativity was so rampant that it seemed the cancer that destroyed the city's progress would never go away.. It pretty much began in the mid-1990's where t...

As a husker fan and from watching the game, I'll explain what I see.. Actually, taxes should be the reason we build the stadium. Here's the math.. 2% = 3.0million per year of generated revenue for a MAXimum $120mil stadium Let's say we don't build the new stadium, and of course we will lose the CWS if we dont: .5% for the $26 million renovation of Rosenblatt 23.0% tax...

Nebraska's OOC schedule for 2009 isn't all that great, but they do play a national powerhouse on the road... so that puts it at above average right there... Very few teams play more than one respectable college team for an OOC schedule every year.
