Re: Nicholas Apartments (12th & Nicholas)
Really like the look of this. Also looks like no dedicated parking in this structure, but they are going to get 120 stalls in a garage next door to the north. I would assume that would break ground fairly soon too as Millwork is building up. The Dizzy Mule project right across the street is mostly t...

Another bad clause. Renting property you own to another willing party is perfectly normal and this language prevents that. I’ll disagree on this. I like the ownership clause because it keeps ADUs as an option for individual homeowners, not the corporate landlords to make more money. I'll gladly adm...

Glad they are trying to make the code easier to build ADUs, they even said there have been none built without essentially a full rezone which these new regulations will hopefully help. Still don't love this clause, but the fact that so few of these are being built anyway and it only goes up to the R...

I am not familiar enough with DSM's townhome construction, but Omaha is building some of that product type. So its slightly more unique than the rendering would suggest. Although Kiewit beat them to having the first one in Oma...

The T3 rendering did have a second structure roughly where this would be. Not sure about the proposed use and not as cool as the cantilevered concept, but looks like something there is still planned. https://rivercityomaha.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/mercantile-omaha-t3-timber-building-hines-990x...

Won't be at this scale b/c the traffic on the Beltline in ATL is dramatically higher than any trail in Omaha, but there are some really cool projects around that trail where the retail opens up to the bike path instead of the street or parking lot.
