I can generally find a beer or two at any that I like but JC has more of them than Upstream. The Dundee scotch ale at upstream might be the best in town though IMO. I am not too excited about this one. I was never very impressed with the Granite City in Clive. I am definitely a far bigger fan of the Rock Bottom in WDM (not Urbandale). Did I see somewhere that it was comming to town too? (or already here?)

There is now an arterial street improvement fee charged for new subdivisions but the disconnect between risk and reward is so skewed by the SID process that it does little to change anything - there are just nicer roads! :)

Elkhorn is the focus now. Once that has been decided the focus can switch back to SIDs and things. The problem, however, is that the SIDs are so burdened with debt that there arent many areas the city wants right now...

Its all still moving quite a bit and the latest plans dont really look like what is shown in this post... There is quite a bit of work left on this one... May make it to Planning Board this month though but I'd expect more delays.

I think that the DSM issue got raised because they have done well despite a much smaller population. A worthy issue to be sure.
