Re: Pride 2014 @ Aksarben
Since I have lived here the actual pride event doesn't draw as many people as I thought it would. The parade has an ok crowd it just feels like no one puts effort into any floats. The bars that host their own events. I believe the gay picnics attract more people. Sadly

Re: Whats with the lights downtown???
I wish they would fix the lights on the CenturyLink Center and the pedestrian bridge. On Monday we had both the CWS and the Bruno Mars concert and the neon lights around the Centurylink were on but on the southeast side facing 480 the light hasn't "wrapped" around all the way like it sho...

A $9.5 million combination movie theater, bar and restaurant — all under one roof — is planned in La Vista near Cabela’s. Here are my thoughts on low income housing in downtown: We need it. And I'm not talking about student housing either. That isn't really low income housing. Fundamentally, this comes down to one core question: Who are we building our downtown and our city as a whole for? For West Omahans going into ...

Yes I agree you may be able to get better deals online, however, most people don't like shopping online as they are not able to try on clothes. Some may say that the outlet center is not as cheap but it's what's happening with all outlet centers. They all make secondary brands specifically for their...
