Re: Official: Shamrock Development (10th and Capitol)
Two thoughts:
1. If the weather is good this week they may have the first level of apartments framed in by the end of the week.
2. The hotel is going to be a much more impressive edifice than the Hilton Motel across the Interstate.
Thanks for the photo update. I really appreciate them.

The more and more we talk about the Heartland of America Park, ConAgra campus and Ozarko area as one comprehensive project the more I realize the freeway bridge must go. Hope someone can get pictures this weekend. Looks like the steel is about done on the ballroom area, forms going up for 4th floor on the hotel, and lots happening on the apartments. If you zoom in on Coyote's pics you can see the layout lines on the floor of the apartments base.

The apartment project has some verticality going on today. Light steel columns going up on the north end. In regards to MTO's question... yes you can pour concrete in the rain. Unless it is a torrential downpour the amount of water in a light rainfall would not affect the strength of the concrete, e...

Food trucks are opportunistic. They go to where the people are. Unfortunately, the area of Lewis and Clark Landing is where the people aren't. I agree that this needs some sort of anchor tenant to draw people here. The children's museum seems the only choice. Saddly, with the restrictions to breakin...

Lots of deliveries today on both sides of the project. Hotel received more steel for the ballroom area, and the apartment side received several truckloads of pre made framing components. The crew spent the last few rainy days doing layout so the apartments should start going verticle soon.

As much as I dislike the SOB, at least it is an occupied building that is being used, and not a surface parking lot. I would rather see a surface parking lot developed. So does this mean their not going to build downtown at all?
