I was unaware that he was even sick. I would argue that David Bowie influenced the modern aesthetic as much, if not more than, Picasso or Rothko or Charlie Chaplin or any other aesthetes of the last 100 years. He was a giant.

Also most posters here would absolutely freak out if they lived in Paris when most of the city took its present form. The process of Haussmanization would be so traumatic it would send some into catatonic states.

Could the buildings be moved to that lot on the east side of Tenth Street between Dodge and Capitol? I don't know how feasible or expensive such a move would be, but it could provide for a win win situation. The buildings would look better on that lot than their current location where they look out...
