Re: Garage Lofts

To be honest, I'm glad they didn't go through with this, esp. for the possibilities the civic creates.  I wouldn't want low income housing next to new buildings. I suggested that in the Civic thread. I think the city got this pulled, or someone paid them a good price to acquire this. I really hope ...

Re: Idea For 132nd and Giles Reroute

I use it to go from Werner Park to 156th St. North. I beats the interstate by 30 or more minutes after a game. Right now it is an easy route away from crowded E/W streets, once you pass 144th there is really no traffic. There is a neighborhood to the south of Giles between 132nd and 144th. How are t...

10 game winning streak continues as KC beats the Tigers again, 2-1. Win their first four game series at Detroit since 2003. 38-1 when leading after 8. Holland & Co. closing strong. Last 10 game win streak was during the strike shortened 1994 season. Guaranteed to be in first place when they come...

XCel is not only for the Wild though? Doesn't a hockey team, the Vipers? play here? I saw the Boss there a few years ago. The Wild are the hockey team that plays there. My bad. For some reason I thought the Wild were the WNBA team that played there, and that the NHL team played at the Target.

Creighton got a verbal commit from Omaha North's Justin Patton.  He is currently 6'11" and expects to grow a few more inches.  His dad is 7'3".  This one kind of came out of nowhere.  He would be a commit for the 2015 season. Jays pull trigger on recruit Justin Patton’s sudden progress an...
