I’ll tell you a funny but true story. My mother was Italian. She made certain foods a certain way. For example, while growing up, she made us kids Cream of Wheat or Oatmeal.. with butter and (get this) SALT. It wasn't the only way my mom made cream of wheat but she did the butter and salt thing too.

Is there supposed to be ground floor retail/restaurants? Yes. Some marketing material shows a Brazilian steakhouse going in this new building. I guess I never thought of Elkhorn as anything even resembling big back in those days. My family started out in Elkhorn and Waterloo. I have no idea what Mutual is going to do or why. However, these sustained low treasury rates and their outlook are a huge headwind to the insurance industry. With the Fed turning again to easing monetary policy, this cannot be a reason for optimism at MOO or the industry.

Darn. There are not a lot of clean food options in Omaha. Maybe we could get a Luna Grill or a Piada: Italian Street Food. Or maybe another local effort along these same lines.
