Re: Cedar Rapids IA Water Park
I still doubt it happens, at least in the form the rendering depicts. Although, there is nothing even close to this in CR. Waterloo, 60 miles north, does have a great waterpark. If this happens, the biggest concern, at least for the outdoor park is going to be the smell coming from the nearby corn p...

Alex Gordon will be playing at Werner Park tomorrow and Friday. Before the announcement they had already sold 4500 tickets, with Gordon and the nice weather, the crowd should be really big. Get there early! Friday was almost sold out before the announcement so expect a hard sellout Friday night. Yo...

Saw this last night after the game and wondered what they were in the dark. I wish they would clean up some of the seaweed that is growing in the water though. On Thursday, a 26-by-14-foot LED screen will be installed near the park’s archway next to its slides. The screen will broadcast a live feed ...

Beautiful sky at the game last night. Also, Kirk Cousins was there. Being a huge Redskins' fan I was ecstatic. The largest cheers were when asked where the toughest place to play in college was and he said Nebraska. Then he said "Go Big Red"

I know that it has been mentioned on here several times but it would be great to have the lot between 10th and 11th and Harney developed. That lot is similar if not, larger, than where the Hyatt Place was built.

Thanks for posting Brad. I remember all the buzz on the radio that day. It was a huge event for the team and the city of Omaha. Too bad they couldn't have maintained that success for the league. I feel that the city wants so badly to have a football team to rout for and with UNO giving their team th...

Why is the attendance debate brought up every single year? The attendance numbers have been higher at TD Ameritrade then they were at Rosenblatt. 2013 was the record year of per game attendance, while 2015 had the highest overall attendance, which broke 350,000 for the first time. There is a ferris wheel in town for the cws; how hard would it be to make one a permanent fixture on the river front, albeit one thats a bit larger? It would need to be part of a cohesive district of some sort to draw people. People wouldn't go down just for the ferris wheel. I think the best optio...
