As for 6855 building... landscaping/concrete work/parking lot improvements have all just been completed... interior renovations continue, including cafeteria. We're not going anywhere.

As I was driving by the other day, I saw what appeared to be a 'West Dodge Expressway like' pier being erected to the south of the south parking garage. What's up with that? I assume we're not progressing towards separate drop-off/pick-up levels already.

Furthermore, corporate is preoccupied with New Jersey and Chicago at the moment.. neither of which currently have buildings to go to.

I used to always envy Iowa's seemingly more progressive atmosphere (seen from across the river at least).. casinos, marriage equality, medical marijuana, etc. But lately, WOW is wrong with these people? Leading the nation on abortion legislation, stripping gun permit requirements, mask mandate ban.....

I would expect any UP move to be more like ConAgra... with mostly front office people affected.

TD Ameritrade is an entirely different situation. Sadly, that was simply an acquisition of customers.

Pretty much the same story for both Nebraska and Iowa... no one coming into the state... and what we do have, moving from rural to suburban (so Omaha/Lincoln continuing to 'grow' at a respectable rate).

My team is moving to 6855 Pine end of this week ... in case anyone didn't notice, signage change has been completed throughout town.

It really is all about line play. It looks like we've got a solid one on the defensive side. However, our young offensive line obviously has a long way to go. We saw a few big plays, but NIU was largely winning the LOS. I sure hope things improve fast. Oh, and Pickering returns soon, ugh.

I hope Gramps is right... and they are able to ram something through. It will definitely never make it past Omaha voters.

Iowa has a million extra rural residents to drive Des Moines growth. Des Moines will out pace Omaha on that alone for decades to come.

As fast as that growth is however, they won't exceed Omaha's size in my life time. Suck it urbandsm. ;)

I would almost guess the BRT line would be more appropriate for Omaha-Lincoln... and show more demand than Westroads down Dodge.
