You said he got a job near Omaha?  What town exactly?  That could make a difference in where you'd want to live.  Benson/Dundee/Midtown might night be the best place to live for an easy commute, if that matters.

I remember May 2007 the river was almost in Harrah's parking lot.  There was a lot of flooding around Missouri Valley that year.  We had something like 7 inches of rain in an hour one night.

That's what makes me suspicious about this fire.  The owner looked rather smug during the news interview.  My father-in-law is a firefighter and said this kind of weather is great for those looking to collect insurance money due to fire.  Its a real challenge for the firefighters.
