I read an article a few years ago stating the reason the name hasn't changed because they had a 100 year naming clause on it. I don't know if airfield was part of the deal or just the Eppley name. Sounds like I'm not the only one who hates the idea of this 'me too', let's be an 'International' airport. I suspect even with the improved facilities and any International tourist destination flights, they would be seasonal at best. I've always actually liked retaining the historic 'airfield' name...

so if I am recalling this correctly, we had about 3" on Christmas, 6" on Tuesday of last week, an inch or two on Wednesday of last week, around 10" on Thur/Fri, and about 3" yesterday. If my memory is any good, that puts us at around 23-24" for the season so far, right?

I think Rusty is best, close-close 2nd is Bill. They are both great on tv and don't seem to be as excitable as, say, Jim Cantorre. But Jim Flowers seems to be almost dead-on with weather, and does a great job explaining the science behind it too.
