Re: Walter Apartments (SEC 50th & Leavenworth)
I watched something online the other day about why there are so many 5 over 1 boxes in the US vs cities in Europe and it has to do with fire code. Here, there is a requirement to have 2 stairwells in every building, so that means there's a significant portion of the interior occupied by a hallway an...

I guess you’d have to ask the owners for the meaning behind the name. Are they going to feature American spirits, wines and beers? Theme bars and restaurants are fine; I have no problem with that. If the name was intended to imply that only like-minded people are welcome, then he should expect some...

I read an article a few years ago stating the reason the name hasn't changed because they had a 100 year naming clause on it. I don't know if airfield was part of the deal or just the Eppley name. It was named after Eugene Eppley in 1959 or 1960. Of course, I can't find the article now. Maybe somet...

Sounds like I'm not the only one who hates the idea of this 'me too', let's be an 'International' airport. I suspect even with the improved facilities and any International tourist destination flights, they would be seasonal at best. I've always actually liked retaining the historic 'airfield' name...

i seriously doubt it, but Gronk still looks in playing shape, so maybe if it was a package deal? :) Belichick to Dallas would sound good on paper, but he's old.
