Omaha taking advantage of the state liberal annexation laws within counties..Unlike some other land locked cities in states who are unable to do so.. Thus losing population and tax base.. That does mark our first watch on the year. 2nd. We also had a Severe Thunderstorm Watch on 05/23/19 until Midnight.. This storm that hit about 4:30am this morning was crazy. Yards covered in hail. Timing looks to be overnight on all our next few chances. NWS currently has us at slight risk Sunday and Monday.
