Rumor has it that JR Snowbridge is transferring out of Nebraska.  If true, that sucks he is a great player and a huge asset to Nebraska.  But even without him next year Nebraska will be a real contender, the one thing Doc must do in the offseason is recruit a big man.

I went to the minneapolis website and they usually get DJs to come that Omaha does not get like Crystal Method, Tiesto, etc.  Plus maybe omaha could land acts that would not normally come here like daft punk, lcd soundsystem, etc if this club came.

Lightrail is already going to have a hard time passing, without the extra expenses of having it wireless(?).  I guess I might be the only one but I like the look of the wires overhead all along the streets in an urban landscape.

I agree Swift Omaha is off to a good start, but has a long way to go.  I would love to see a target move downtown, not in the north part of downtown but possibly at the base of the swanson/OWH site, or somewhere around there.

It's sad but a lot of other cities also got rid of their streetcar systems also.  I can't wait for the day when people wake up and say "what the |expletive| are we doing building suburban malls?!"  And they finally bring major retail back to cities like Omaha and Lincoln.

You do also realize that the NCAA has never expressly asked for any of the improvements that have been made to Rosenblatt so far either. It's not the NCAA's policy to get involved to that level. 18-11 is not a bad regular season finish for the skers.  They lost so many close games their record could easily be 21-8 or so.  But with steady improvement I don't think Doc has too many years until they actually make some noise in the Big 12 and NCAA.

That is really to bad, but I guess whatever it takes to keep the CWS in Omaha is best.  Let's build this stadium and build it now!  We will find ways to re-incorporarate dingerville and all tail-gating in DT Omaha

Somebody recently told me that the NCAA wants to put tailgating to an end, and increase the amount of "fan zone" areas, does anybody know if there is any truth to this?  I must have completely missed out on this if it is true, I really hope its not!!!

Skers play Oklahoma at home tommorow night, anyone think we have a chance?  I'm guessing there will be about 11,500 actual attendance due to our last couple of away wins.  I'm hoping for a big win, we need all of them we can get considering we still have @OSU and @Texas.
