I currently live just 1/2 mile north of Platteview Rd near 36th St. It will really open the area up for future development once all this happens. Granted they also have to get the storm sewers and other infrastructure in place but that area will really take off once it does.

Wow, that leaves only 2 bowling alleys in CB. Thunderbowl and Lightning Bowl. I always wondered how long Regal could stay open. Quite a few years ago they removed a few of the lanes and installed a stage so they could host parties and events, guess there wasn't enough business.

KETV just reported that the zoo is on pace to break their all-time Memorial Day weekend attendance. From Friday-Sunday, they had over 46,000 visitors.

Assuming this project comes to fruition, there are not a lot of cities the size of Omaha adding 700 units in one urban development. Most of the ones I have seen from midwestern cities lately are for around 200 - 300 units at most.
