Re: Midtown Triangle Apartments

Re: Midtown Triangle Apartments

as a frequent bike commuter I love all the back-in angle parking the city is building. it's much safer to ride past parked cars!

Re: Dundee Theater
Old Dundee closing makes sense if they don't want to bulldoze the existing buildings to make it up to code. Because the existing front doors are not up to code anymore (being 4 feet from Dodge street or less), the building was grandfathered in. A major remodel would invalidate that, making it prohi...

Re: Leavenworth Rows - an Urban Pocket Neighborhood
I'd be surprised if they went to speculators but I suppose it's possible. A few years ago I remember the Urban Village people were starting to sell some of their units along Marcy and were desperate for even one unit to sell so that it could be used as a comparable. Apparently nothing like these tow...

Sold sign already on the northern-most home for the 3036 Marcy townhome. They're not quite done working on the interior, from what I can tell. The "columns" are finally up on the second story

Rebuild that bridge just past freedom park. Unfortunately they are in the process of getting the paperwork to tear it out... Omaha, Carter Lake, and I think even the railroads have stated they want to keep it. However the coast guard had deemed it a "Navigation Hazard" and are pushing to ...

Re: Pros/Cons of Omaha
Omaha is an area with tons to do, you just have to look for it. Its not a place where it lands in your lap. I have lived here all of my life and have heard tons of people state, "there's nothing to do here." But there always is - open a paper or local magazine - keep your ears open - go t...
