Yeah, I'm really excited at the prospect of new carriers at Eppley.

And I would love to see a new controll tower as much as anyone. Not to mention the pending new building to the south. Here's to seeing that "magic number" sooner than later!

Offutt Air Force Base - STRATCOM

Exactly what I though, Jeff. EXACTLY!!

But, no. Instead they'll probably just lay down some "celebrity home-styl" tract housing. Nothing special.

I think One Renaissance Center will look fantastic on the river. Sokkerdewd, Yeah, I was surprised that she didn't know either. She's actually a really cool lady, and is really involved with where she lives, and is very knowledgeable about Omaha and the world. But hey, she wasn't up to speed on the ...

The internship is a sure thing, however, the planning department does not currently have funding for the position. So, I am interning for them "pro bono" until they get funding. Given the circumstances, I thought I would check out this valet parking job to have some income. Plus, I could d...

Ryan, you're absolutely right. Anyone who wants to have mature, rational discussions about all the great things going on in Omaha is welcome over here. And that even includes the infamous Joe Mapleton (Joemoney) if he could ever learn some manners and straighten himself up  . Glad to see you o...

Yeah, I actually corrected my Urban Studies professor just today on the population issue. She had said on multiple occasions that Omaha's consolidated area was "almost 600,000". I of course raised my hand being the know it all that I am, and informed her and the class of the restructuring ...

Ha! I was actually just looking at this on Creighton's website yesterday! Crazy.

But yeah, the new stadium, the beautiful new student housing, combined with the development of North Downtown all the way to the riverfront will make for quite an amazing district. This is all very exciting!

Yeah, they'll go quite well together! Actually, if anything, I would say they changed the CB design to fit more with Riverfront Place. And just so everyone knows, I am to thank for the Renaissance web site's up to date, 820,000 population stat for the metro . I sent them an e-mail bringing it ...

I was one of the 2,300 :) . Yes, indeed, I went down to the job fair on Saturday and put in my aplication to be a Valet Attendent. I need some sort of income while I'm in college, and I figured it would be a great job. Parking people's cars, making great tips, and working on Omaha's doorstep welcomi...

That looks fantastic! Unless we learn otherwise, I would assume that the east facing sides would be the same as the west facing sides. They're more narrow than the original renderings, which I like because it makes them look taller. This is really outstanding that the Iowa side of the river is exper...

It's great to see all of you over here! Hopefully more people will make the move. I'd love to do another forumer meet!!! I'm pretty flexible, so I'll work with whatever everyone else can do. Also, I went ahead and put a graphic in my signature. If it's annoying to anyone let me know and I can take i...
