Nike (NW Corner 15th and Mike Fahey)

I heard that Nike was opening a store in this building. I was 2 blocks from there yesterday and didn't notice it.

No way if they want a store this year. Â Did they mention if it would be a permanent location or a 2 week one? Â I know there is probably a 5% chance that is stays open all year though.

It's only a temp location. Â Would love to see more permanent stores down there. Â Might be a ways away from that though.

Nike shop to open for CWS

Nike will be among the short-term vendors popping up around TD Ameritrade Stadium in the next few weeks.

The Nike Fieldhouse will be at 15th and Mike Fahey Streets, in a building formerly used as a Linweld shop and store.

The Nike Fieldhouse is being converted by Newstreet into Sessions bar and restaurant.

But that is an incredible space. That little strip of buildings would be something great to hold onto going forward.

I was thinking density. Same footprint but with more levels would be denser I fugyre.

Residential I agree it would be more dense to tear down and build taller. I would say that if they were torn down we would lose retail density(or potential density). There is no way a new build would have three or four retail bays along a half block stretch and if they did there is no way the retail space would stretch back as far as these spaces do.
