Apparently this building has been leased entirely by one company.

Drove by last night. It appeared that they had installed some glass on the west side of the building.
Re: Think! Primary Care Building.
There is also about 2 floors worth on the right half of the south side too.skinzfan23 wrote:Drove by last night. It appeared that they had installed some glass on the west side of the building.

Blue Cross backs new physicians clinic, CHI Health gets into Medicare
Twenty-four primary care physicians will open the clinic early next summer in a seven-floor building being erected at 72nd Street and West Center Road.
The clinic will include a staff of 500, with physical therapists, nutritionists, mental health professionals, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, health coaches and others.
The 150,000-square-foot facility will include laboratory services, mammography, ultrasound and X-ray technology, but not MRIs. Surgeries won’t be done there.
Zach Wiegert, CEO of Tetrad Property Group, the developer of the $40 million building, said it will have a glass exterior and an atrium and grand staircase inside. It’s designed for comfort and ease in moving patients in and out. The building will let in plenty of natural light, he said.

Re: Think! Primary Care Building.
I drive by this every day to and from work. It's getting pretty tall....or that may just be because it's on a hill and my brain is playing tricks on me. I do like the glass they're using quite a bit.
I wonder how big the parking lot will be, and if anything else will go up near that.

Wait, is this the same Zach Wigert that played at Nebraska? I can't believe they forgot that information...it's important! Sheesh, silly OWH.skinzfan23 wrote:Zach Wiegert, CEO of Tetrad Property Group, the developer of the $40 million building, said it will have a glass exterior and an atrium and grand staircase inside. They've opened the new drive into that development, coming off the 72nd St ramp. Interesting to see if that makes this development a more desired location, that and being close to AV.
Re: Think! Primary Care Building.
A great addition to the city .
Re: Think! Primary Care Building.
This place is almost entirely covered with glass. I'm actually impressed with how it turned out. What I cant wait to see is what it looks like lit up at night from 67th Street.

From the Interstate, this area is beginning to look like a mini-Bloomington.

Now that it is almost complete, here is what the development company has to say about it and the projected view of it.

That's a good example of how much a project can evolve from the concept stage to design and construction.hatwate wrote:Now that it is almost complete, here is what the development company has to say about it and the projected view of it.

Re: Think! Primary Care Building.
I was really hoping for the diagonal window scheme. I'm not sure if they thought of using rhomboid-shaped panes of glass or if they were going to encase it in a metal lattice, but I thought that was the neatest part.Seth wrote:That's a good example of how much a project can evolve from the concept stage to design and construction.hatwate wrote:Now that it is almost complete, here is what the development company has to say about it and the projected view of it.

However, I like the webbed effect they put on the windows instead so I'll take that.

Drove on I-80 on Saturday night. The building looks great all lit up at night, even from the interstate.
Re: Think! Primary Care Building.
That's where I saw it from last night. I drove by for a closer look today and that middle section that is all lit up, they started installing translucent glass panels over the top if it. They are only about 1/4 of the way up, but right in the middle of the area they have up is the word "Aksarben", in a somewhat large font.
I also noticed last fall there is a sample panel over by the trailers that as a big blue circle in it. I am giessing that will be going somewhere too.

No photo tonight, it was getting a little to late to take the type of photo that I typically like to shoot. But I did drive by and that middle section is solid LED Lights. May be tomorrow.

Interesting. Either the glass in my photo is going in, in the wrong order, or its been changes since the rendering.

Or the logo is now designed into the glass, and the lettering goes below, on top of the glass..
Re: Think! Primary Care Building.
I love how this building turned out. That being said, I'd love to see what it would look like being 10-15 floors instead of six.

From the sound of it, they are banking on this being the future of outpatient medical care... that it may not just be one more building...
