Is that effect from a protective film that will be discarded or is that exactly how it's supposed to look.
It looks... Interesting.

Re: Mid-America Medical Office Building
That looks awesome -- curious to see how it looks on an entire building. It's also nice to see something a little different.

Maybe it'll prevent birds from smacking into it...

I don't think I've seen patterned glass in person on anything larger than a storefront. This will look interesting and futuristic, that's for sure.
Re: Mid-America Medical Office Building
I do recall the word "iconic" being used in the description of this project. it just goes to show how a simple structure can be made into something neat with the right glass treatment.Seth wrote:I don't think I've seen patterned glass in person on anything larger than a storefront. Re: Mid-America Medical Office Building
Nice. I noticed the crane was up last night and I was wondering how high it was going, but I figured it was about as high as it needs to be for a 5 story building. Maybe Brad will snap a picture of the crane.iamjacobm wrote:Looks like the arm is going onto the tower crane today.

I took thousands so crane photos over the past several days... only they were the winged variety!skinzfan23 wrote: Maybe Brad will snap a picture of the crane.

From what I could see driving by and looking through the fence (I'm a great driver, I swear), it looks like the foundation is already going in.

Thanks for all the crane updates(natural and man made ) exciting to see them popping up on the Omaha landscape again! This project is so high up on that hill, going to be a really impressive view.

I just hear this was called "TH!NK Primary Care Facility" Someone already changed the name of the thread, but didn't see a post about it anywhere.

Sitting on a bench in Aksarben Village, you can see about two floors of this building over the treeline. I didn't think it would be that visible.

My bad, I was thinking of looking north from the 72nd St. interchange, but I bet you can see it from the 60th St. view north.Garrett wrote:Both, unless it was the arena I saw.Coyote wrote:Whaaa? The building or the cranes?Garrett wrote:
